This wouldn’t be the first time we took inspiration from Joy Division’s Unknown Pleasure album. Inspired by the post punk darkness of 1979 with the light promise of the 80’s just around the corner. Our Unknown Pleasure candle paints a picture of a dark, bleak city with flickers of chaos and hopefulness, entangled with the heaviness of the end of an era. This candle is the sensory representation of dark and light, of sexy and sweet, playing with light and shadow. It’s perfectly Shadowplay and we are honored to share it with all of you.
